Saturday saw another great turnout for the Norham Tractor Run on a blowy and snowy morning. Thanks to all who turned out and thanks to Pauline for a few great pics!
We visited your lovely town today, admired the castle from outside and the church… we would like to say how fantastic Foreman & Son butchers are. The butcher was so helpful, the food looked fantastic, we had a take away bacon roll (generous and delicious) the best cheese scones we have ever bought and a […]
The second Bike Fest took place on Sunday 11th September. The event proved to be very successful, being well supported by cyclists from all over Northumberland and the Borders. The scooter race once again stole the show with children, as young as two years old, pushing the length of Castle Street. Records were broken on […]
Sunday 4th October saw the remarkable spectacle of over 150 people embracing the 850 year old Norham St Cuthbert’s Church. This ancient ceremony called “Clypping” is achieved by all participants holding hands whilst encircling the whole church building. Quite an achievement for a church as large as St Cuthbert’s! A little ingenuity was required at […]

Well, an 850 year Anniversary is rather special, so sound […]
A beautifully designed bone china mug has been produced to celebrate 850 years of our ancient church. Only a limited number will be available and we hear they will be on sale at the 850 Fair in Norham on July 11th. Make sure you come and get your’s.
On a sunny day in April Northumberland’s High Sheriff for 2015 was installed in our Church. It so happens that our new High Sheriff is also a member of our choir! Here she is, with the choir, after the ceremony.
Piper Daniel Laidlaw VC was remembered on Sunday 31st May 2015. There is a Commemoration Service in Norham every year on the Sunday nearest the anniversary of his death. This year’s service marks not only 65 years since his death but the 100th year since his courage at the Battle of Loos (September 2015) earned […]
